You can find many Top 10 Best Indoor Plants lists out there, but I like the one Green Plants for Green Buildings has on their website.  These plants rated the highest in a research project that evaluated the ease of growth and maintenance, resistance to pests, efficiency at removing toxins from the air, and transpiration rates.
